Atithi Devo Bhava“- a Guest is our GOD. Everywhere in the world a guest is welcomed using Flowers. They have fragrance, are Beautiful and give us a peaceful environment. They are one of the most Beautiful creations of GOD and HE Himself enjoys being worshipped using Flowers.

Jaisa karoge, Waisa bharoge“- you get, what you give. In the above case this seems true. GOD gives us flowers and we present HIM these flowers as a token of our Love.
This phenomenon is equally applicable to us aswell. We throw Garbage on the streets and get back its stinky smell. I experienced this phenomenon on my way to ‘India ka Dil-Dilli’. Delhi welcomes its guests from Northern states  with a mountain of Garbage. Yes, not a bouque but a mountain. When i entered Delhi yesterday i wish i could be a normal human being and not an “Atithi” who needs some special welcome.
But i think we all will agree that Delhi is giving back what it has received from its environment. As i stated above also- you get, what you give. Delhi receives tons of Garbage lying unattended on its streets and it is giving back its stinky smell to us.
If we too want to feel Heavenly, we will have to become like GOD.
